Octa®

Octa® is a high-performance hollow-core fiber developed by Teijin Frontier Japan, featuring four key characteristics: lightweight, warmth, breathability, and quick-drying.
Its unique structure consists of a hollow center that effectively reduces fabric weight while enhancing thermal efficiency. The outer layer’s radially arranged filaments provide excellent moisture wicking and ventilation.

Depending on the intended use, Octa® is available in various weights—from ultralight to high heat-retention versions—making it suitable for both mid-layer and base-layer garments. Compared to traditional fleece or down, Octa® keeps the wearer dry and comfortably warm even during active movement, making it ideal for outdoor pursuits such as hiking, skiing, and extended adventures.
